At Alderburn Finance we cover the whole of the Scotland from our office in Edinburgh. Our priority is to get the right finance for our clients. Too often, situations arise where clients have been pushed into financing arrangements that are wrong or incorrectly structured, which limit the ability of the business to expand and grow.
Since Neil Davidson established Alderburn Finance in 2004, over 90% of Alderburn's clients have received the funding they requested, often within significantly shorter timescales than mainstream lenders.
Alderburn Finance recognise that the funding marketplace is a constantly changing and challenging environment, and so we talk to lenders on a daily basis, keeping fully up-to-date with developments in the market and the wide range of lending sources that may be able to help our clients.
We typically work with businesses to raise finance between £300,000 and £20 million. Whatever the size or sector of the business, the focus is to get the funding right for the client, by taking time to understand their business, structuring appropriate facilities and ensuring that the solutions address current and future needs.

Our professional team has extensive experience in accountancy, banking, turnaround, and financial services.
Our Managing Director and founder Neil Davidson has 25+ years commercial and corporate funding experience in senior roles across the UK Banking and Private Equity industries.
His passion to ensure Scottish businesses have the right funding to maximise their potential has been strongly demonstrated over his career, however post "Credit Crunch" this proved to be an increasing challenge. Consequently Neil decided to utilise his past experience and knowledge of Non-Bank funding to support the funding gap and established Alderburn Finance.
Neil is a qualified accountant and MBA graduate of Edinburgh University.
